Extramural mediaeval churches 03 [ Earlham St Mary’s: Mural monument to the Bacon family (formerly in the church of St Giles’ in the Fields Middlesex but transferred to Earlham by Mr Waller Bacon on the former church being demolished in 1731), Altar (presented by John and Laura Gurney 1843), 15c. square-headed Screen (cusped and crocketted ogee arches having painted and varnished tracery) ]

Eaton St Andrew’s Church:

Extramural mediaeval churches 04 [ Eaton St Andrew’s: Early English Nave and Chancel covered with a thatched roof, Perpendicular Tower, Interior roofs and fittings (modern) ]

Extramural mediaeval churches 05 [ Eaton St Andrew’s: Stained glass east window (commemorates the Bensley family), Trefoil headed pillar Piscina with carved cap (late 13c.), Tudor chair (presented 1926), Screen (1861) ]

Heigham St Bartholomew’s Church:

Extramural mediaeval churches 06 [ Heigham St Bartholomew’s (except for the Tower the church was gutted during an air raid in 1942 - the Tower 44 feet high was repaired in 1953 - it has no dressed stone quoins but only large flints) ]

Extramural mediaeval churches 07 [ Heigham St Bartholomew’s: North Aisle (added in 1878 as a memorial to Bishop Hall who died in 1656 at his Palace - now the Dolphin Inn - in this parish), Piscina (on the south side of the chancel), Font (15c. octagonal East Anglian type) ]

Lakenham St John the Baptist and All Saints Church:

Extramural mediaeval churches 08 [ Lakenham St John the Baptist and All Saints (mainly Perpendicular style - the roofs are modern - the Arcade being iron pillars cased with wood) ]

Extramural mediaeval churches 09 [ Lakenham St John the Baptist and All Saints: Monument to James Crowe (Mayor of Norwich 1774 and 1797 of Tuckswood House Old Lakenham died 1807 aged 56), Trefoil headed Piscina (south-east corner of Chancel), Font (early 16c. - carved with Emblems of the Passion, the Evangelists etc) ]
